During the summer of 2022, 42 model puffins were created and installed around the East Yorkshire and Hull area.
Each puffin was sponsored, and artists were commissioned to decorate them.
The unique artist decoration of each puffin responded to one of three core themes:
At the end of Puffins Galore! all the Puffin sculptures were sold, the proceeds from these sales were donated to four charities which were selected for their important role in the protection of the wildlife of the seas and coasts or for their essential work saving lives at sea.
Easington and Kilnsea got their own puffins.
