May 2009 - The Welwick to Kilnsea Charity bike ride
This month our photographs show some of the over 180 participants of the Annual Welwick to Kilnsea Sponsored Cycle Ride which took place on Good Friday.
In spite of a forecast of poor weather our small corner of Holderness maintained its reputation for proving the Met. men wrong and both those who took part and the many spectators who lined the route enjoyed wonderful weather. As the photographs show, there is no age limit on the entrants, resulting in an impressive range of over 80 years between the youngest and and oldest pedlars.
