January 2009 - The Winter Threshing charity event at Welwick



The first Photo Gallery of 2009 shows ten pictures taken at the Christmas Threshing event held at Moat Farm, Welwick.

This annual charity event raises money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and features a variety of farming and other skills from times gone by as well as a number of other vintage exhibits.

This year the events included a vintage tractor run, threshing corn cut by a traditional binder, saw milling and a very steamy demonstration of the wheelwright's art.
