December 2008 - Aerial pictures of the Humber Estuary
The aerial photographs in our gallery for December were provided by SKEALS member Robina Herrington.
As the Editor of this site and a Grimbarian by birth I make no apologies for the inclusion of the last two photographs. The photograph of the 'Dock Tower' in Grimsby reminds me of my childhood there and the photograph of Blundell Park, the home of Grimsby Town FC, (The Mariners) recalls the time when I watched the legendary 'wizard of the dribble', Sir Stanley Matthews, playing for Blackpool in the late 1940s, when both teams played in what has now become the Premiership.
