January 2010 – Walk along Spurn Peninsula by visitors from Worcestershire



Following a serious operation on her left shoulder, Lin Hall spent some time recuperating in Kilnsea in January of 2009. Without realizing the distance invoved Lin set off one day to walk from Kilnsea along Spurn. Eventually she reached the Point and then walked back.

Fortunately she had a camera with her and our first Photo Gallery of the new decade is a record of that walk. As Lin is left-handed all the pictures were taken with her right hand.

Our thanks are due to Lin Hall for allowing us to use her photographs.

Instead of captions for the pictures, the words of Robert Frost's poem, "The People Along the Sand", have been used.
