Inscription reads;
Sacred to the memory of Rebecca, daughter of Robert and Catherine Medforth of Outhorne who departed this life the 3rd Jany 1834 aged 5 years. My time was short my years but few, Like as the grass of morning dew. Mourn not for me the change is great, Seek ye the Lord and we shall meet.
