Inscription reads;
Sacred to the memory of Edward Curtis who departed this life the 11th July 1806 aged 63 years. When Jehovah’s thunder rolls. His lightning came so nigh. By his appointed arrows then. That I was doomed to die. Also Mary the wife of Edward Curtis who died the 12th May 1810 aged 61 years. Also John and Mary their son and daughter who died in their infancy's.
