Inscription reads;
In memory of John Clubley of Easington Who died November 5 1857 aged 64 years. Also Nancy Clubley relict of the above who died May 14th 1860 in the 64th year of her age. Yet these new rising from the tomb with lustre brighter far shall shine, revive with ever during bloom. Safe from diseases and decline. Also Laura Albertha Clubley who died Octbr 29th 1863 aged 14 months. (McDougald, Hedon)
