Inscription reads;
In affectionate remembrance of Michael Locking the beloved son of George and Ann Charlton (of Easington) who died April 30th 1871 aged 27 years. Also Moses the beloved son of the above who died June 1st 1871 aged 22 years. Also Ethel daughter of John and Jane Wood of Hull who died June 7th 1881 aged 7 months. This lovely bud so young and fair, Called hence to early doom, Just came to show how sweet a flower In paradise could bloom.
