Inscription reads;
Sacred to the memory of Mary Blenkin who departed this life the (?) of October 18(?). 74 years Hard was my life and with afflictions bound. But now I lie at rest beneath the ground. My soul is safe within Jesus’s arms. Freed from the world and safe from deaths alarms. Also Lidia daughter of William and Lidia Blenkin who died in her infancy.
