Inscription reads;
In affectionate remembrance of Jane Blenkin who died on the 30th October 1873 aged 80 years. And is she gone whom we so dearly loved . Whose tender kindness we’ve so often proved . Yes she is gone her happy spirits fled. And she’s numbered with the silent dead.
